At First State Community Bank, Mexico we are proud of our townÕs rich history. The town was built around the firebrick industry. AP Green had their national sales office and the largest under roof firebrick manufacturing plant in Mexico. At its peak it employed up to 1,200 people. Mexico has also been home to the Miss America Pageant for 45+ years. We are thankful for our communityÕs commitment to preserving the history of Mexico and we are thankful to be a part of it.
