Transition FAQ

Q: What banking locations will be transitioning to FSCB?
A:  First State Community Bank is purchasing nine banking centers in Boonville, Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Kennett, Mexico, Moberly, Richland, Rolla, and Vandalia. These locations will open as FSCB on Monday, June 24th.

Q: Will all accounts become FSCB accounts?
A: There are many checking accounts, savings accounts, IRAs and CDs that will transition to FSCB.

Q: When will customers whose accounts are transitioning be notified?
A: Bank of America will contact customers that are transitioning in writing to notify them about their account(s) March 15th.  Subsequently, customers will receive a welcome mailing from First State Community Bank on April 1, which will provide information and key dates about the transfer process. Additionally, customers will receive account-specific information in May.

Q: How will customers be enrolled in their new accounts?
A: First State Community Bank has conducted a mapping process to transition customers into the products that best match the products they have with Bank of America. Additionally, customers will receive account-specific information in May.
